We invite you to join us at 5 PM on Tuesday, February 13, at the VISD Administration Building for our "Come and Go Celebration: 125 Years of VISD - Pre-Board Meeting Gathering." This event is not just a celebration of VISD's past, but a conversation about its future. Meet with trustees, educators, and fellow community members to share your thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for our school district.

GET READY! APPLICATION OPENING SOON FOR VISD'S TUITION-BASED PREKINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

Parents in the Victoria Independent School District (VISD) now have the opportunity to give their children a head start in education with the opening of applications for the Tuition-Based Pre-Kindergarten Program. Beginning Thursday, February 1, applications will be available for families interested in enrolling their children in this acclaimed early education program for the 2024-25 school year.

In the heart of Victoria Independent School District, a remarkable partnership has flourished, illuminating the path of support for students at the VISD Success Academy. Every Thursday, the Faith Family operates a pantry on campus, offering a lifeline to those who need it most. This partnership, deeply rooted in compassion and community spirit, is a shining example of the vital role that community organizations play in education, fulfilling the vision outlined in VISD's strategic plan.

VISD TO ACCEPT DONATIONS OF USED GRADUATION GOWNS TO GOWNSHARE INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Victoria Independent School District recognizes the financial challenges many students face when purchasing graduation gowns, so we are launching a pilot program to accept donations of gently used gowns. These gowns, which have remained unchanged for at least three years, can certainly be reused, making participating in graduation more accessible for all students.
